Founded in January 2009 in Hong Kong, Gravity Ballet was established by Eve Yu,
a renowned dancer from the Chamber Ballet of Taiwan.It was the first ballet studio in Hong Kong dedicated exclusively to adult learners. Our mission is to create a professional yet welcoming environment where dancers of all ages and backgrounds can discover their own path in ballet.
In 2025, Gravity Ballet expands to Taipei, bringing our passion and expertise to a new city.
We aim to build a platform for adult ballet education and performance in Taiwan, offering dance lovers a fresh start.
Eve believes that dance is not only a form of discipline, but also nourishment for life and a way to pursue dreams.
This space is designed for adults who want to grow continuously and realize their aspirations,
while contributing to the development of a vibrant ballet culture in Taiwan.
Our structured and leveled classes range from introductory to advanced, all taught by an experienced and award-winning teaching team that ensures every student can learn confidently and grow with joy.
Our Taipei studio is located in the lively Zhongzheng District,
just 6-8 minutes’ walk from both Taipei Main Station and Ximen MRT Station.
Surrounded by cultural landmarks like Zhongshan Hall, Taiwan Province City God Temple, and Astoria Cafe & Bakery,
the studio offers not just classes, but a warm and supportive community where adults can connect, grow,
and pursue their dreams.
